Both photos were taken with Nikon D3200; 1/200; f5.6; ISO 100. Flash was TTL mode +1
I brought out slightly more exposure to both in Bridge.
I liked this image better in color because of the skin tone
In this image I preferred black and white, I think it makes the bokeh more striking as well as a moodiness to his expression
